Demo Project

Here's a demo project to help you get started. I've documented quite a bit, but there are still blueprints that need to be cleaned up and documented which I'll continue to work on. I'll update the demo project here as I make progress.

If there's anything that doesn't make sense, or you get stuck then feel free to ask about it on the Discord Server.

You must own the plugin and have it enabled for the project in order to use the demo.

Instructions:

1. Download the appropriate demo project

   • UE5.4 Demo Project

   • UE5.2 Demo Project

   • UE4.27 Demo Project - (Does not have foot IK on spider)

2. Unzip to a folder of your choice

3. Open the .uproject file for the demo

4. Make sure the Dynamic Surface Navigation Plugin is enabled

5. Within UE, browse to the "SurfaceNavPluginDemo" content folder to find all of the maps and other assets related to the demo.

6. Open a demo map and play (the AI will take a moment to move while waiting on navigation to initialize and generate)
